An unbeaten ton and a three-wicket haul by Chethan and an undefeated hundred by Abhishek Bhat were the highlights of a drawn encounter between Cambridge Cricket Club and Jayanagar Colts in the KSCA Group I, Division II league for the MAT Acharya Shield here.
Cambridge rode Bhat’s 115 not out and Chethan’s 127 not out to amass 342 for five in 74 overs. Jayanagar,could muster only 206 all out in 72.1 overs. Chethan claimed 3/39 while Vinu Prasad lent him an able support bagging 3/92.
Following on, Jayanagar were 85/2 when the match was called off. Cambridge collected three points for innings lead while Jayanagar settled for one point.
