Second double ton for Hoysala

Arjun Hoysala struck second double century in as many matches as Herons Cricket Club gained first innings lead and three points in their drawn match against Sir Syed Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division II league for the MAT Acharya trophy here.
Herons batted first and declared their innings closed at 408/3 in 62 overs with Hoysala striking a 210-ball 219 (25x4, 7x6) and Pratik stroking his way to 115. The left-handed batsman had scored 191-ball 217 in Herons’ innings win over Young Lions Club in their previous match.
In response, Syed Cricketers could only muster 124 all out in 45.5 overs as Nithin M (4/11) and Bharath M Kondajji (4/37) ripped through their batting order. Following on, Syed Cricketers were on 92/3 in 35 overs when the match ended.
