Kumaran to face Gopalan in summit tie

Sri Kumaran Children Home (B-62) will take on Gopalan National School in the final of the KSCA U-14, Division II inter-school tournament for the BTR Shield here.
Yashovardha’s brilliant all-round show set up a comfortable eight-wicket victory for Sri Kumarans against Carmel High School (Padmanabhanagar).
Batting first, despite half-centuries from Suhas (80) and Ranveer (53), Carmel High School could muster only 157 all out in 45.5 overs. Yashovardha was the wrecker-in-chief, bagging 7/24.
Yashovardha then slammed an unbeaten 52 to take Sri Kumarans to victory in just 25.3 overs.
